Eleanor Arnason, I loved her Ring of Swords and look forward to the sequel.

. He's a great pulp writer of gems like; What Mad Universe and The Lights in the Sky are Stars.

. Writes great urban fantasy like; War for the Oaks and I hear she's a good musician too.
Jonathan Carroll
George C. Chesbro Really, if you can find them check out any of his Mongo mysteries. A dwarf ex circus acrobat, PhD criminologist, Martial Artist, private detective. How could you go wrong?
Samuel R. Delany
I tend to prefer his non-fiction, but it's all good.
Bradley Denton. Read
Buddy Holly is Alive and Well on Ganymede, wackyness pure wackyness. If you prefer something darker, try Blackburn.
George Alec Effinger.

. He writes SF with some very interesting disability/disfigurement themes. Start with Expendable.
Neil Gaiman of the comic book, Sandman fame and my favorite American Gods.
William Gibson.

All My Sins Remembered, has one of the greatest endings in a genre that doesn't really "do" endings.
Robert A. Heinlein

Wonderul Caribbean influenced fantasy stories.
Frederik Pohl
. Especially his collaborations with C. M. Kornbluth and Gateway.
Nancy Kress.
Her take on money, prejudice, priviledge and what genetic engineering could do to them in the Beggars of Spain trilogy is rich and full.
Ian McDonald. Scissors Cut, Paper Wrap Stone is the most exciting idea dense work I've read in a while.
James Morrow
. As a recovering catholic, I just love Towing Jehovah.

Frank M. Robinson. He's probably best known for his The Power. I loved the truly scary The Dark Beyond the Stars
Kim Stanley Robinson. You either love or hate his Red Mars Trilogy. I love'em!
